Mozart, Haydn, Dvorak, Mendelssohn and words on nature and gardens
by Shakespeare, DH Lawrence, Kipling, Hardy & Clare. Divertimento
String Quartet & Richard Clark.
Sunday 17th August, 7.30 at Bovey Tracey
Town Hall. 'MAINLY BACH'. Bach Brandenburg 5, Bach Suite
in B minor, Trio Sonata and Ricercar from The Musical Offering and
works by Flackton and Vivaldi with Judith Hall solo flute and The
Divertimento Ensemble.
Friday 5th September, 7.30 at St Mary's Church, High Street,
Totnes. 'Mostly Mozart' The Pressenda Ensemble (formerly
the Ten Tors Orchestra Chamber Ensemble) directed by Malcolm Latchem.
Mozart Divertimento in F, Quintet in D, Adagio & Presto from
A Musical Joke. Piazzolla Tangos, Fugue and Divertimento, Arvo Part
Summa and Bartok Rumanian Dances.
Friday 12th September, 7.30 at St John's Church, Bridgetown,
Totnes. 'Purcell to Piazzolla' The Pressenda Ensemble,
directed by Malcolm Latchem with Lucy Railton, solo cello.
Purcell Chaconne, Vivaldi Cello Concerto, John Adams Shaker
Loops, Beethoven German Dances, Grainger Molly on the Shore &
Mock Morris, Piazzolla Tangos, Death of Angel & Concerto for
Five.
Friday 3rd October, 7.30pm at St Mary's Church, DARTINGTON.
'The Glory of the Garden' Pastoral music
and words on the subject of nature and gardening. Divertimento Ensemble
with actor Richard Clark. Including string quartet music by Mozart,
Haydn & Dvorak and words by Kipling & Shakespeare.
Friday 24th October, 7.30 at St Mary's Church, Totnes.
Schumann Piano Quartet & Schubert Trout Quintet.
