The Drat Pack
If you want that classic swing thing by greats
such as Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack, then The Drat
Pack is for you. The Drat Pack is led by Adam Moran on vocals, one
of the leading swing singers in the South West. Swinging such numbers
as Fly me to the Moon, The Lady is a Tramp, Come fly with me and
the classic New York, New York, this is the band to make your feet
tap and to make the dancing swing. The Drat Pack can provide a full
evening of swing, but it is not just a jazz band. The Drat Pack
plays lots of great motown, soul, funk and more modern tunes to
raise the energy as the evening hots up, or if a variety of styles
are needed. As well as providing after dinner entertainment members
of the Drat Pack can form the smaller jazz group called Lush Life,
to provide laid-back background music during a meal, or for drinks,
essentially providing a complete package of musical entertainment
for your event.

Maggie Reeday
Maggie Reeday started her career as a vocalist
with a local Exeter band and subsequently toured USA army bases
in Germany. It was during this time that she was invited to appear
on ITV's 'New Faces' for a total of 4 times. She subsequently appeared
in a variety of shows for ITV and has sung both for the Scottish
Radio Orchestra and the BBC Radio Orchestra.
Maggie's love affair with jazz standards began
many years ago and she has earned an excellent reputation in that
field working with some great musicians. Jazz Journal International
-"Ms Reeday has all the ingredients that a jazz singer requires;
Good intonation, a powerful voice with plenty in reserve if necessary."
The Guardian -"Maggie sings good standard tunes almost exclusively
and makes them her own with an intimate and appealing jazz influenced
vocal style". Her great sense of rhythm and natural ability
to connect with her audiences has them shouting for more wherever
she appears.
Maggie performs in a duo with a pianist, or with
bands from trios to quintets. The trio adds a bass, the quartet
adds drums and the quintet has guitar as well.

The Steve Chisholm Trio
This Trio is a mainstream jazz unit, featuring
the cool, jazz-based pop of the 40s and on (Sinatra, Mel Torme)
and nostalgic songs of the 50s & 60s from Sam Cooke and the
Drifters to Buddy Holly and the Beatles. The Trio is vocal-based,
with additional brass, guitar, piano or bass.
Art Deco Duo is also available, with vocals/brass
backed by either piano or guitar. These are very popular at smaller
parties and gatherings.

Louise Parker
Louise came to singing only six years ago, discovering
her previously hidden talent for both vocals and entertaining after
studying for a National Diploma in Performing Arts. In 2005 she
has had performances at Glastonbury Festival's Jazz Lounge, the
Hayne Barton Jazz Festival and the prestigious Pizza Express Dean
Street jazz venue in London to her portfolio.
Evening Standard - "There is no substitute
for good time and tone, and Lulu displayed both. Tender or wild,
her voice never lost its warmth and her phrasing had an in-built
propulsion rarely heard from others."
She continues to go from strength to strength,
developing a unique style which ranges from poignant ballads to
full gutsy blues and gospel, which have audiences begging for more.
Jazz classics are treated to her easy rhythmical style and inspirational
scatting, with Louise playing with the band rather than in front
of it. Influences include Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald andBillie
Holliday. Louise currently performs with her band at Jazz venues
across the Westcountry.

Projet Brassens
Projet Brassens presents the engaging songs of the great French
song-writer/poet Georges Brassens, within a cabaret performance
designed for English speaking audiences. The band also performs
jazz and swing tunes. Vocalist Maxine Green introduces the songs
in English, and translates and outlines the ideas behind parts of
them. Concerts have a very French flavour but you do not need to
speak French to enjoy them. Georges Brassens is as well known in
his homeland as The Beatles are in England. The French regard him
as a great master of song and to many he epitomises France itself.
"Sexy, soulful, rhythmic, funny, a stirring example of how
music can transcend language barriers"
