A superb six-piece band with a repertoire covering everything from seventies’ soul,funk and disco classics by Stevie Wonder, The Jackson Five and Aretha Franklin to modern day dance floor fillers from iconic artists such as Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars and Cee-Lo Green. Fun, energy and some seriously funky tunes will ensure the dance floor is full all night long, giving your guests a night to remember!

Folk Band 1
These three skilled musicians give an exciting and varied performance of the music they love – the varied strands of the dance music of Europe and beyond. From wild Irish reels in the West, to frenzied bulgars in the East. From the gypsy campfire of Northern Poland to the village dance overlooking the blue waters of the Mediterranean. A oneband Womad, including ceilidh band and caller!
This has been a successful gigging band for 20 years, playing for weddings, parties and celebrations of all kinds in South West of England. Now, freed from the need to be sensible parents of schoolage children, they are gigging further afield, appearing in festivals, concerts and arts venues across Europe and beyond.
Folk Band 2
This band is an upbeat and energetic ceilidh dance band based in the beautiful South Hams of Devon. They travel throughout the South West of England and occasionally beyond. They are a three piece band with their own callers and a two piece band with an optional caller which is ideal for the smaller event and for those on a limited budget.
They play an eclectic mix of tunes from England, Ireland, Scotland, America and beyond – lively jigs and reels, rousing polkas, bouncy hornpipes, waltzes and airs. The band are equally proficient in playing foot-stomping music for dancing, and an evening’s entertainment of music and song.
This band can also play reception music for weddings and more formal events to include melodeon, concertinas, hammered dulcimer and gypsy jazz guitar.
They have their own top quality PA system to ensure the sound is just right and can also provide lighting and PA for discos – just supply your own music.
